We have worked with our customers to develop this vehicle for the comfort and ease of use. This applies to the passengers as well as the driver. We have slide away ramps and Unwin Safety Sytems fitted to all the vehicles.

From the early days of the idea we have moved forward to now being able to provide two types of vehicle.

Both are electric and both are 48v manufactured by BENSEL at their manufacturing plant in Holland. The process of product design has led to us introducing innovative features that offer refined passenger experience and ease of use for the driver.

Whilst looking at the most efficient design to offer customers we looked at making the drivers job easier by introducing a slide away ramp that goes underneath the buggy, better driving controls and a system for speed control in designated areas. This allows management to dictate the speed the buggy is to be driven at in specific areas such as front of house, pedestrian zones or just going over cattle grids. We use GPS signals to create zones for the buggy which allow us to slow the buggy to any speed when in that zone.

Our new vehicles are short wheel based and long wheel based with options for carrying more passengers when not transporting a wheelchair by utilising removable seating. This maximises the seating on the buggy and ensures that the maximum number of passengers can be transported at one time. We are delivering the first of our new buggies in June to a National Trust site and images of this will be made available for the website then.
