	MGB Mini 5 Wet and Dry Grit Spreader.


	50 litre capacity, road speed related, pedestrian operated 'drop' salt spreader which is well balanced and easy to use and maintain. Large diameter pneumatic wheels make it easy to negotiate high curbs. Salt is forced out of the hopper using the Epoke Metering Principal which ensures and accurate and consistent spread even with wet lumpy salt. The spread rate is easily adjusted by changing the tension on the spring base via a lever on the side of the spreader. One filing will treat several kilometres, which when compared to spreading with a shovel, or many other spreaders available, saves time, money, salt and minimises potential damage to the environment. They are painted orange RAL 2000.

	200 litre capacity, road speed related, wheel driven, towed, 'drop' salt spreader with large diameter pneumatic tyres (to help get up and down pavements) and 38mm eye type drawbar, ideal for use with compact tractors and other small vehicles. Salt is forced out of the hopper using the Epoke Metering Principal which ensures an accurate and consistent spread even with wet lumpy salt. The spread rate is easily adjusted by changing the tension on the spring base via a lever on the side of the spreader. A manual clutch, operated via a rope, enables the spread to be started and stopped, without needing to leave the warmth of the cab. These units are ideal for de-icing pavements, cycle ways and small factory sites etc. and the compact tractor can be fitted with a compact tractor snowplough to make a very effective snow clearing unit.

Road speed related, wheel driven towed ‘drop’ salt spreader with rear road lights and drawbar with 50mm ball hitch and 35mm eye. Salt is forced out of the hopper using the Epoke Metering Principal which ensures and accurate and even spread even with wet lumpy salt. The spread rate is easily adjusted by changing the tension on the spring base via a handle on the back of the spreader. These spreaders are robust and they are simple to operate and maintain therefore, it is not uncommon for them to last in excess of 15-20 years.

Optional extras available include:

Three point linkage mounting pivots slightly to reduce the ‘scuffing’ on the tyres when turning.
Cover.
Fork lift attachment (ITM45 & 60 only) so it can be mounted onto the forks (The salt is then spread in front of the vehicle and it enables the treatment of areas which you cannot treat with a towed unit e.g. corners).
Reduction gearing (ITM 45 & 60 only). This option reduces the ratio of the metering roller to the road wheels which reduces salt usage.
